Talk to your pediatrician. If your baby is growing as per the expected age and not falling sick often, then you need not worry. But you have to ensure that your kid does not have iron deficiency or worm infestation
If vegetarian food is balanced and includes proteins from sprouts, nuts,pulses and child eats fruits & vegetables , then it is as good as non vegetarian diet
Children have growth spurts and gain weight as part of their growth. But each child is unique in its growth process and comparing with peers causes anxiety.Check with your doctor who will plot his weight and height on growth charts and tell you whether your kid is actually overweight and if it is so, healthy lifestyle with balanced food, regular physical activity and healthy sleep routine helps.
Vaccines are taken by millions of kids across the world and very carefully studied by doctors and specialists. So we know they are absolutely safe
While we can catch up with vaccines even if you are late, delaying vaccines means that your baby can get serious and life threatening infections. Hence getting them done on time is a must.
Diseases prevented by vaccines are very life threatening and babies cannot be protected against them by naturally developing infection or in other ways. The only way to avoid them is by getting vaccinated.
Vaccines cannot make your baby sick as the quantity of germs in it is very tiny. Some may have very mild side effects like slight fever or soreness for a day or two only. Vaccines do not reduce a baby’s immunity.
It takes at least 6 weeks. So don’t try to change them before that. You can leave them on for a long time.
If the piercing site looks red, swollen painful , visit your paediatrician immediately so that you can get appropriate medication
- Apply an antibiotic ointment to the piercing site twice a day using a cotton pad.
- Rotate the earring twice daily.
- Do not remove or change the earring for the first 6 weeks
- You should only touch your child’s piercings after thoroughly washing your hands.
